CORONA

One rainy night I was a sleepy passenger in a car, lashes drooping, and as I shifted the focus of my eyes I saw around the streetlights a vibrating halo reflected on my glasses. Upon arriving home I did a small sketch before sleeping, to fix them in my mind. I did many of these drawings, using gray colored pencil on gray papers. This allowed for very subtle modulations and an effect that made the images stand out or disappear, depending upon from which angle they were viewed.
