CURTAIN

As I lay in my room in the morning, I began to notice the way light fell on and came from behind the dark blue curtain across from my bed. I noticed something completely different was happening in the afternoons and at twilight. I set out to paint these effects without referencing the curtain literally; I wanted it to become a plain of color around and upon which light would be activated.
